The intakes of this series use the stock air filter location, but give it a boost with a larger air inlet to keep more cold air flowing through the 360 degree AIRAID® Filter. At the same time Cold Air Dam seals directly to the hood, separating the hot engine area from the air inlet to ensure that only cold air is supplied to the engine. The kit includes the Roto-Molded X-Linked Polyethylene intake tube that is less affected by the engine heat (compared to steel or aluminum tubing). All of these factors guarantee the horsepower and torque increase, as well as improvement on fuel consumption.
